The rooms were cheap with a good sized tv sitting on the top and the beds were exceptionally comfortable. The location was incredible, a minute walk from The Seat. The hotel was a nice comfy base for enjoying a local area.

I really liked calverts hotel. Staff were super friendly and helpful, and i loved that the hotel has this old fashioned charm. The location is awesome, easy walk to the center and a quick bus ride can take you around the island. The room was clean, comfy bed, and i appreciated the tea making stuff in there. Definitely great value for money since its not very pricey for the stay.

But the bathroom could use some updates, it had a bath but no proper shower which was kinda weird. It got pretty dark in the room, could use brighter bulbs or better lighting.

I had a wonderful experience walking to the nearby Museum of Island History and enjoying a quick coffee at one of the lovely cafes just a few steps away, made my stay enjoyable and convenient.
